CNR Construction came to us as a young business with real ambition: quality craftsmanship, a professional team, and a clear focus on home extensions, loft conversions and new builds across Wirral and Merseyside. The work was excellent. The problem was that nobody searching online could find them.

House extensions in Wirral is one of the most competitive local SEO markets in the North West. The top of Google is held by firms that have been trading for ten, fifteen, even twenty years, with established domain authority, hundreds of reviews and years of backlinks behind them. Breaking into that as a brand-new business is the kind of job most agencies quietly turn down.

CNR didn't come to us with nothing, exactly. They'd had a website for a month or two. The trouble was that it brought in nothing at all.

What We Did

We rebuilt CNR a conversion-focused construction website from scratch, designed around the exact searches homeowners in Wirral use. Every core service got its own dedicated page โ€” house extensions, loft conversions, new builds โ€” with clear copy, real project photos and strong calls to action, including a custom instant quote calculator that turns a curious visitor into a qualified lead in seconds.

Alongside the build we launched a full local SEO campaign. On-page, we structured the site so Google understood exactly what CNR does and where they work. We also fully optimised CNR's Google Business Profile so they'd start showing in the Map Pack across Wirral, Birkenhead, Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

In seven months, CNR have gone from a standing start to over 90 qualified enquiries through the website's contact form and instant quote calculator, and that figure doesn't include the homeowners who found them on Google and called or emailed directly. The search visibility tells the same story. CNR's site has gone from zero to over 25,000 organic impressions on Google, with clicks and impressions climbing every single month as the site ranks for more competitive extension and loft conversion searches across Merseyside.
