To invite someone to your Google Business Profile (GBP), you need to add them as a user through your Business Profile settings directly in Google Search. (No profile yet? Create one first. And if you'd rather we managed the whole profile, see our Google Business Profile service.)

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between an Owner and a Manager on a Google Business Profile?
Owners can do everything, including adding and removing users and even deleting the profile. Managers can edit business information, reply to reviews, add photos, and publish posts, but they can't control who has access. There's also a Primary Owner, which is the one role that can't be removed without transferring it to someone else first.
Should I give my web or marketing agency Owner access?
No, Manager access covers almost everything an agency needs to do, including posts, photos, reviews, and edits. Keep Owner, and especially Primary Owner, on an account your business controls. If you ever part ways with an agency that owns your profile, getting it back is a painful process.
The invite email hasn't arrived. What should I do?
Check the spam folder first, then double-check you typed the email correctly, as the invite only works for that exact address. The address also needs to be attached to a Google account. If it still hasn't landed, go back into People and access, remove the pending invitation, and send a fresh one.
How do I remove someone's access to my Google Business Profile?
Go to the same People and access screen, click the person's name, and select Remove. You need to be an Owner to do it, and you can't remove the Primary Owner without transferring that role to someone else first. It's worth checking this screen whenever staff leave or you change agencies.
Can I transfer my Google Business Profile to a new owner if I sell the business?
Yes. Add the new person as an Owner first, then go back into People and access, click their name, and change their role to Primary Owner. Bear in mind Google makes newly added users wait a short period before they can become Primary Owner, so don't leave the handover to the last minute.
